Well this Friday, I went to celebrate my homegirl, Ash, birthday at Tenth Rail. My first time at that spot. It was a nice, chilled spot in midtown. Not a all pretentious, nice decor, friendly bartenders and great music. I love meeting new people, dancing, and a drank in my cup … They offer food and hookah as well … Always a plus with me. However, afterwards the night took a turn for the worst. Bloody faces, Cops, Ems and lost/broken cell phones!! Smh. I was there and still don’t know what went wrong. Lol …
Saturday I worked a double …16 hours is not normal nor desirable for a sista like me. I’m grateful for a gig, but I’m not about this life. I want a career, doing something I love! Ughh days at work like these make me pursue my dreams vigorously ..
Sunday I went to a Babyshower, my 2nd one since March. I have another babyshower in June((my bestfriend)) which not only will I be in attendance but will be making financial contributions, setting/cleaning up decorations and basically organizing this babyshower. I can’t wait!!! Anywhoo, it was good to see my girl happy and glowing. I can’t wait to meet lil Malachi :).
